Transaction DBIETP
This transaction is used to maintain entity group transaction profiles.
NB. Changes apply to the current Entity Group. Different Entities can have different settings.
It is mostly used to configure whether a particular transaction needs maker/checker release or not.
Options for the Release Control of Business Transactions
Transaction parameters control how business transaction are to be released. The following release methods can be selected:
- Signature required - If set , the transaction waits for a relevant person to Release it. (technically it sets a "A" in the signature required field and is blocked until an "A" is set in the signatures Obtained field )
-
No Release required - No release method is required for this transaction
-
Source in Transaction - special code where rules in the code determine whether Release is needed or not. (Used by some Amend and standalone Fee transactions)
The combobox “Relevant Amount” is only active if 'Signature required' has been selected.
It is not a monetary value, but rather the field to check against e.g. 'Maximum Amount' or 'Open Amount' . If an open amount in a transaction is a negative number, the relevant amount for release is 0.
