Entity Groups comprise multiple entities and constitute a self-contained accounting methodology. Usually, an entity group is a complete bank. A base currency is defined for each entity group (e.g. for determining rates).

Note: The data for the entity group relate to central settings for the whole system. Any changes to these settings should be made with care and, where applicable, with the assistance of the support team.

Entity Group- This field holds the external key to identify an entity group.
System Base Currency- This field contains the system base currency for the entity group.
Rate Base Currency- This field defines the base currency for the defined exchange rates.
Foreign System Currency- Base currency for posting/booking fee and commission of Foreign/International LCs and Guarantees (i.e., when the domestic flag is empty)
Direction of rate logic -1: price notation; -1 inverse as for EUR
Color of charts- Color to be used if entity group is represented in charts.
Typically specified in form rgb(rrr,ggg,bbb) as this allows automatic modification of color to create color gradients.
This field controls the color in which the entries assigned to the user are displayed in the Dashboard charts.
Name -This is the visible name of an entity group.
This name is used in selection lists and on panels used to identify an entity group.
Region- This field list the region,to select the region of the Entity group
On the Opening hours panel, the usual office hours for each weekday can be defined for the entity group selected. If the fields Time from and Time until are filled for specific days, then the difference in hours is automatically calculated. For weekdays on which the entity group is closed, the checkbox Closed must be checked.
In the absence of any different work/business hours being entered for the individual users in the User profile or for the individual Entity, the bank opening times defined for the entire entity group will be applicable.
The Past Due Settings panel is used to define the past due stages for a loan contract. The settings defined here are applicable for all entity groups, unless a specific setting is made available at Entity level, thereby which, the settings defined at entity level takes precedence.
