The Calendar function in the application basically supports two elements,

• Allows user to add one or some system calendars.
• The Annual Public holiday calendars are listed for the added system calendars.

Any number of annual currency-related public holiday calendars can be set up.

At first the user should create the system calendars in the application and then the public holiday calendar( List of public holidays) is created based on the Selected Calendar year for the system calendar.

On selection of the Value date, system automatically takes account of the specific calendar for the currency selected. The calendar icon in each data field will show the day of the week in red if the date is a public holiday or non-working-day.

To maintain system calendars in the Application, DBITDH transaction is used.

(Administrator and designer users can directly start this transaction by clicking the  (Launch transaction ) available in the Panel headline without having to select the relevant menu ) 

To add a new System Holidays for the Currency and the Calendar Year selected, click on the  to create a new Holiday.

When you have made your changes, click on the ( )  Save function to save all the the data entered in the transaction to the database.
