Detrimental amendments in connection with Transfer LC When an existing Export L/C is linked 

to a Transfer L/C, the amendment of the master L/C may lead to an amendment of the transfer L/C. This is supported in the application by the following:

 

Transaction LTTRAM - This transaction is used to request approval from the second beneficiary for any kind of amendment of made in a Transfer L/C.

 

> When linked to a Transfer L/C, upon saving of the transaction LETRAM an auto-registration is` automatically stored for the transaction LTTRAM if the triggering transaction under the export L/C was also a detrimental amendment (i.e. LETRAM). 

 

> If the triggering transaction under the Export L/C was an amendment (LETAME), then an auto-registration is stored for the transaction LTTAME.

 

Criteria to do Request for Amendment transaction- An existing Transfer contract which is open and not closed.
