A Syndication Deal can only be closed if no open syndication liability exists for the deal. The syndication amount must be equal to 0. Reduction of syndication liability is only possible through the Amending(SDTAME), Booking Handling(SDTHAN) and Funding Repayment transactions(SDTFBO).

Once the Syndication Deal is closed, only a few transactions such as Settle Charges, Attaching an Incoming Message, Re-Open, and Report Generator Syndication Deal are allowed.

An Advice of Cancellation message is generated for the cancellation and sent to the Syndication Party.

To cancel a Syndication Deal, SDTCAN transaction is used,

Select it from the menu item[Other Products -> Syndication -> Other Deal Transactions -> Close].

(Users can directly start this transaction by clicking the  (Launch transaction ) available in the Panel headline without having to select the relevant menu) 

When you have made your changes, click on the ( )  Save function to save all the the data entered in the transaction to the database.
