Address upload is an alternative way to add party details into the system.
Upload saves time and allows many parties to be added in bulk.
Why Address upload ??
This lets you upload data that has already been collected, processed or being processed, for example data exported from your core banking system , where KYC has already been done.
How to Import Address :
Importing of address comprises of two steps mainly
1. Importing of files into the system using SFTP
2. Processing of the Imported file using IMPADR
Let us look into this in detail :
Importing of files :
Please follow the below gif and the step mentioned to upload files into the system :
1.Set up the putty configuration as shown
2.Select the file to transferred .Do a drag and drop
3.Execute the command in DOKA .Incase of Address upload follow section Processing of files
Processing of files :
Transaction IMPADR:
This transaction is used to import address data into the database of the application.
The text file to be imported is selected via path and file name and will be imported by clicking the icon.
The log file for this transaction can be displayed by clicking the icon . The log shows information about the updated and added records.
Note: The subdirectory BATIN must be created in the DATA directory of the application. The converted import file has to be in that subdirectory. The structure of the import file has to be available in ASCII format and has to have a .txt extension.

The following steps are needed process the imported file :
1.Navigate to transaction "IMPADR".
2.Select the file path and file name from the drop down available
3.Click upload Icon on top left
4.User can check logs to know the status of the upload using icon
